Gubat,
Sorsogon – a new Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries’ Organization (ARBO) was born in
Bentuco, Gubat, Sorsogon as Nelson F. Espaldon, Municipal Agrarian Reform
Program Officer (MARPO) met the ARBs and their households on August 10, 2016.
The newly organized ARBO was named GSARCFA (Gubat Special ARC Farmers’
Association) with an initial membership of twenty-nine (29) ARBs and farmers,
covering five (5) barangays of Gubat, Sorsogon which are Bentuco, Tigkiw,
Naagtan, Bulacao, and Tugawe.
Last
August 24-26, 2016 they have attended their very first training on Capacity
Development Program of DAR which is Entrepreneurship and Basic Management under
the Agrarian Production Credit Program (APCP). According to Julie L. Encinas,
Technical Assistant in Gubat, the training was very timely for GSARCFA which is
starting Tocino and Longganisa Business. ###
